Our competition winner was announced at the World Rivers day festival held in City Park, Bradford on Sunday 25th September 2016.
Alex Blakey’s design of mixed glass and stone shows sympathy with its intended position on Tyrell Street and is evocative of Bradford’s history and growth which is partly due to the Beck. It also looks to the present and maybe suggests the future too.
