Installing one of the plaques

Plaques arrive on a wagon.
Checking the slabs and plaques match in size.

A heavy suction lifter enables the work force to remove slabs un-broken, to be used elsewhere
Some paving stones don’t come out easily and can’t be saved.
Broken slab removed.
A smooth sand bedding for the new plaque.
The new plaques are carefully lifted.
