Bradford Live is a charitable company established to find a long term financially viable future for the cherished former Bradford Odeon building in central Bradford. Built in 1930, this much loved twin-domed theatre played a central role in the social and cultural history of Bradford and is still rooted in the hearts and minds of the local community
Bradford Live’s aim is to bring back to life this iconic landmark, transforming it into a world class city centre entertainment facility. We plan to redevelop this severely neglected building in the heart of the city, creating a commercially viable and sustainable, professionally-run, 3,000 – 4,000 capacity world class live music and performance venue.
Located in an area of severe deprivation, the project will drive economic regeneration by providing jobs and bringing increased revenue into the city centre. We are confident that this scheme will help complete the revitalization of the area and is a key part of regenerating the centre, rejuvenating the city and re-kindling civic pride.
Bradford Live currently sponsors and promotes live music events in the city and is currently seeking funding to secure the renovation which, once completed, will be transformational for our City and its people.
